I think you're forgetting a very important reason why we need Suffs now and it's not to "clean the image of white women". It's to encourage people to vote. To remind them how hard it was to get that right and to ask them to use it wisely. I kindly ask you to stop spreading misinformation about the show. I added a long comment on your review of it.

By the way, do you want to know what Latinx women deserve? They deserve that Latinx people including children stop being caged like animals by people in power. And how do we get the right people in power? Through the vote. And which musical is encouraging people to vote? Suffs. If you want to talk about what Latinx people deserve, maybe ask them?

I think you’re missing a few things here. The story of black women is not being forgotten. In fact that is a major part of the show. To how show racist and flawed “heroes” like alice paul were. Find a Way, Wait my turn, terrell’s theme, I was here, finish the fight reprise, are just some of the songs that heavily deal with the racial injustices. and then you talk about heterosexual themes. yes, inez milholland, straight. doris stevens, straight. but carrie? mollie? and alice literally said she wouldn’t marry. remember the song Worth It? and then you talk about how it doesn’t cover trans suffragists. and i’m sorry but we don’t have an EXTENSIVE historical account of trans suffragists in the early 1900s. yes, trans people existed back then but they were so persecuted and “weird” that it was rarely known to the cis public. and i know this is no where near what you want but may i remind you that the cast includes a beautiful trans women along with someone who identifies as non binary. ah, now to the moral of the story. VOTE!! PROGRESS IS POSSIBLE NOT GUARANTEED! keep marching, don’t give up etc. suffs is also meant to educate people about the suffrage movement. and unfortunately a lot of that history was created by white women. why? because america was hella racist and would only give the time a day to white people. now if it wasn’t for black women i wouldn’t be able to vote, to share my opinions, to make my own money, to be “free.” without their ENORMOUS sacrifices we would not be where we are today. but all the stuff black women did was often covered up or taken credit by white women. suffs shows that. a lot. back to the learning part. alice paul was one of the most famous suffragists ever, if not the most famous. this story is about HER, her friends, life through her eyes. the reason the story isn’t all about Ida B. Wells is because she’s not the main character. a musical about all the gay, trans, and black suffragists would be great, thanks for offering to make it. you have a very basic view of this show. like to dived 5% of the way in and was like “yeah, i’m good. got some basic critics that can only come from someone who doesn’t know the show!” also you can make the argument of no gay or trans or people of color statement in a lot of historical shows. hamilton, “oh but that cast is multiracial, yeah but in real life all those guys were WHITE! Hamilton tells the WHITE story. also any queer people in hamilton? what about newsies? are they all white people? i think so. straight? jack and katherine. any queer people? nope. there are so many injustices everywhere. the goal of suffs is to share the story of the suffrage movement, yeah a little basic but it’s only a two hour show. people want to be entertained and uplifted, not yelled at for being terrible racist homophobic patriarchy supporting karens. and i’m sorry but that’s the kind of show that sells. it’s really terrible but it’s true. if we keep marching and changing things maybe one day we will get a show about the “hidden” suffrage movement that actually sells but not today. yeah if that makes me sound old or conservative wtv. its true. but anyway yeah, that’s it. i would love it for you to go see it one time to realize the falsehood of your arguments.
